TQ HPR40 Drive Unit

The TQ HPR40 is powerful, light and silent. You are climbing fast and silently. No one will notice you are amplified. Moreover, it’s finely tuned with BMC’s dedicated firmware and settings, ensuring the system delivers the unmistakably Teammachine 01 AMP ride experience.

Visual Control

With a bright, high resolution color OLED display improving readability in all lighting conditions and seamless Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity, you gain effortless control over the bike’s electronics.

Integrated Rear Light

Be visible and confident on the road with a high quality rear light designed with optimal optic refraction to project 20 lumens across a wide 180° range. Fully compliant with worldwide regulations (StVZO).

TQ Smart Box

The Teammachine 01 AMP comes with TQ Smartbox. This allows SHIMANO shiftlevers to control your assist mode thanks to their hood buttons. The SmartBox allows you to connect additional systems such as a front light or USB charging port for your accessories.

The Teammachine 01 AMP is the bike we wished to ride even before creating it. The goal of a sub 10kg e-bike. It is a lightweight, highly integrated e-road bike designed to look, feel, and ride like a traditional
high-performance road bike while offering subtle electric assistance. Its 01 Premium carbon frame, stealthy design, and sub-10 kg build makes it one of the lightest e-road platforms available.

Because it’s lightweight and feels like a Teammachine SLR. The Teammachine 01 AMP is engineered as a “fast road bike first.” The geometry, stiffness, and handling mimic a pure race bike, while the
electric assist remains nearly invisible, with almost zero drag above the speed limit and an extremely quiet drive unit.

Every Teammachine 01 AMP uses the TQ HPR40 mid-drive motor, a compact, whisper-quiet system specifically developed for road and gravel bikes. It delivers:
• Weight 1 170 g
• Max. Torque 40 Nm
• Mech. Power 200 W

A total system weight of 2 878g including cables and the 290 Wh battery.
